The Federal Academy’s Structure

BAköV - The Federal Academy of Public Administration – a short presentation of its organisational structure

BAköV is an organisationally independent part of the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community and is headed by a President.

It is subdivided into five training divisions.

Training divisions 1 is inter alia responsible for policy and cross-sectoral issues, while training divisions 2 through 5 are primarily responsible for developing further training events, for developing BAköV’s programme and for accompanying and evaluating seminars.

Organisationally, the Federal Academy can draw on the administrative co-operation of the Federal College for Public Administration which provides logistic support and also hosts the BAköV headquarters on its campus in Brühl.
