Since August 2013, Mr. Dr. Alexander Eisvogel has been the President of the Federal Academy of Public Administration.

Born in Mechernich (North Rhine-Westphalia) on 23 July 1965.
University entrance qualification followed by law studies in Bonn.
1989 First State Examination in Law;
Followed by a doctoral degree in law (Dr. jur.);
1994 Second State Examination in Law;
February 1994 to October 2006 various posts at the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution;
November 2006 to April 2010 Director of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution of the federal state of Hesse;
May 2010 to July 2013 Vice-President of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution;
Since August 2013 President of the Federal Academy of Public Administration at the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
